To enable JavaScript in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or Later (for Windows)	To enable JavaScript in Firefox 2.xx or 3.xx series for Windows	To enable JavaScript in Safari
On the Tools menu, click Internet Options. On the Security tab, click Internet. Click Custom Level. Scroll down to Active scripting. Click Enable (or Prompt). Click OK. Click Yes. Click OK.	On the Tools menu, click Options. Click on the Content icon. Check the box next to Enable JavaScript. Click the Advanced button to open the Advanced JavaScript Options box. Check the boxes under Allow scripts to section that you want to allow. Click OK. Click OK.	On the Safari menu, click on Preferences. Click the Security icon. Click on Enable JavaScript next to the Web Content section if it is not checked. Close the Preferences window. Close and restart Safari.

Click on the "Privacy" tab. Click the "Default" button (or manually slide the bar down to "Medium") under "Settings". Click "OK".	Go to the "Tools" menu. Select "Options". Select the "Privacy" icon in the left panel. Check the box corresponding to "Allow sites to set cookies". Click "OK" to save changes.	On the Safari menu, click Preferences. From the Security dialog box, from Accept Cookies, click to select Always or Only from sites you navigate to Click Close

To change the screen resolution on Windows XP	To change the screen resolution on a Mac
Right-click on a blank area of the desktop and click on Properties. Click on the Settings tab to access the screen resolution setting. Look for the screen resolution slider. To increase the screen resolution, move the slider toward more. To decrease screen resolution, move it toward less. The preferred screen resolution is 1024 x 768	Open the System Preferences (either from the Dock or from the Apple menu). Open the Displays Panel and choose the Display tab. On the left of the Displays tab you can select at least 1024x768. Close the System Preferences window.

Usable window area

The usable window area is somewhat smaller than 'screen resolution' when tool bars, task bars, or scroll bars are present. This course has been designed to operate without any of those functions in order to maximize the amount of space available for course content. If you are seeing scroll bars on the right or at the bottom of the screen, check your screen resolution and adjust the size as outlined in the screen resolution prompt above.

Browser Diagnostics for Optimum Performance

This page is designed to check whether your current browser settings will allow you to access all the course features. For all browsers you will need to have JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets, and Cookies enabled. Your screen resolution should be set at 1024 x 768 or higher.

Pop-up blockers should be turned off when in the courses.
